just had a storm?

here's what

to do

Storm damage doesn't always show itself right away. Sometimes a roof looks fine from the ground but has hail bruises that'll cause leaks in six months. Here's the right order to handle it:

Step 1:
Don't climb the roof yourself.

Wet, damaged roofs are dangerous. Let us look

Step 2:
Document what you can see from the ground.

Photos of fallen branches, damaged gutters, debris in the yard. These help with insurance.

Step 3:
Get a free inspection from us.

We'll climb the roof, check for hail bruising, wind damage, and missing shingles. You get a written report with photos.

Step 4:
Decide whether to file an insurance claim.

If the damage is significant, we'll help you understand whether filing makes sense. Small damage that's below your deductible isn't worth filing for.

Step 5:
We handle the repair or replacement.

Once the claim is approved (or you decide to pay direct), our crew handles the work.

What Storm Damage Actually Looks Like

Most homeowners don't know what they're looking at. Here's what we find after major storms in Flathead Valley:

Hail damage:

  • Round bruises on shingles — sometimes visible, sometimes only when you press on them

  • Granule loss exposing the asphalt underneath

  • Dents in metal flashing, gutters, and vents

  • Cracked shingles

Wind damage:

  • Missing shingles

  • Lifted shingles that look fine but no longer seal

  • Torn shingles at edges

  • Damaged ridge cap

  • Broken or missing flashing

Ice dam damage:

  • Backed-up water under shingles

  • Damaged gutters

  • Interior leaks weeks after the storm

  • Damaged soffit and fascia

Brance & debris damage:

  • Punctured shingles

  • Damaged decking under shingles

  • Compressed or broken vents

How We Help With Insurance Claims

12 years of doing this means we know the insurance process. We can't legally negotiate with your insurer on your behalf, but we can give you the documentation and expertise you need to get a fair settlement.

what we do:

  • Free inspection with detailed photo documentation

  • Written damage assessment you can submit with your claim

  • Be on-site during the adjuster's visit if you want

  • Provide a detailed scope of work and estimate

  • Handle the repair or replacement once approved

what we won'T do:

  • Tell you to file a claim if there's no real damage

  • Inflate damage to push a claim through

  • Promise to "waive your deductible" (that's illegal)

  • Pressure you into work you don't need

If the damage is real, we'll help you get it covered. If it's not, we'll tell you straight.
