Tuff Rib and Standing Seam metal panels, professionally installed by Titan crews. Built for Montana snow loads. Designed to last decades.
Metal roofs are made for places like Flathead Valley. Heavy snow slides right off. UV doesn't break it down the way it does asphalt. A properly installed metal roof can last 40–50 years.
They're not for every home — they cost more up front, and the look isn't right for every style of house. But for the right home, metal is the last roof you'll ever buy.
We install Tuff Rib 29-gauge exposed-fastener metal panels. This is a workhorse panel — tough enough for Montana winters, attractive enough for any home, and built to last.
29-gauge steel, factory-coated
Multiple color options (Galvalume, Burnished Slate, Forest Green, Brick Red, and more)
40-year paint warranty from manufacturer
Exposed-fastener system installed with sealing-washer screws
Compatible with both new construction and re-roof over existing structure
Titan Roofing 10-Year Workmanship Warranty + Tuff Rib Material Warranty
Our work is backed for 10 years. If something we installed leaks or fails, we fix it.
Tuff Rib panels carry a 40-year paint warranty from the manufacturer. Most properly installed metal roofs outlast that timeline.
We come out, look at your roof structure (metal can add weight, so we verify framing), and put together a real quote.
In some cases we can install metal directly over existing shingles. In others, we tear off. We'll tell you which is right for your home.
If we tear off, every square foot of decking gets inspected. High-temp synthetic underlayment goes down before any panels.
Tuff Rib panels installed per manufacturer spec. Sealing-washer screws at proper placement and torque. Trim and flashing done right at every edge.
Ridge cap, eave trim, and proper flashing at every roof penetration. This is where metal jobs go wrong — and it's where ours don't.
Full cleanup of the site. Walk-through with you. Warranty paperwork delivered.
Honest answer: it depends on your home, your budget, and how long you plan to stay there.
Go with asphalt if:
You want the lower up-front cost
Your home style fits a traditional shingle look
You're not planning to be in this home for 30+ years
Go with metal if:
You want the last roof you'll ever buy
Your home style works with metal (modern, mountain, ranch, etc.)snow
You want to handle heavy snow loads better
You're staying put long-term and want the long-haul investment
No. Properly installed metal roofs (with underlayment and proper attic insulation) are no louder than any other roof. The "loud metal roof" thing comes from uninsulated barns and sheds.
Yes. Metal sheds snow better than almost any other roofing material. We'll verify your structure can handle the panel weight, but for nearly every home in the valley, metal is a great snow-shedding option.
Tuff Rib panels are factory-coated steel with a 40-year paint warranty. With proper installation, you'll get decades before any paint fade — and the panel itself will outlast that.
Generally 30–50% more up front than a quality asphalt install. The trade-off: it'll likely last twice as long. Over the lifetime of the roof, metal often comes out cheaper.
Myth. Metal roofs don't attract lightning. And if lightning does strike, a metal roof is actually safer because it conducts the charge and is non-combustible.
Free estimate. We'll come out, look at your home, and give you a real answer about whether metal makes sense.
